Pilates is a form of low impact conditioning exercise that helps to strengthen the core and improve flexibility, restoring normal muscle balance in the body. It also improves postural awareness and breathing control to help you feel relaxed and refreshed after every class.
We are trained by the APPI – the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. The APPI curriculum is unique in its design as it is the only Pilates programme in the world that was fully designed, taught and developed by Physiotherapists.
Physiotherapy-led Pilates is built on our degree-level understanding of movement, anatomy and physiology. Ensuring tailored exercise for every individual while in a small group setting. Classes are suitable for almost everyone, including those with spinal, musculoskeletal or neurological conditions. All of our classes are led by Physiotherapists, with an expert knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and experience of rehabilitation through exercise. Our instructors are all HCPC registered and Chartered Physiotherapists.
