Local Karate Students Swep the Podium
Seven karate students from our Karate Club, have finished 2025 with an outstanding 10 medals in the Inverness HKA Invitational karate competition last month. Erin Masterson won gold in kata, Flynn Copland gained gold in sparring and Harris Magill one each of gold, silver and bronze in both kata and sparring categories. Instructor David McTaggart said that for everyone in the squad to medal in what for most of them their first karate competition was absolutely incredible and a testament to everyone’s hard work, courage and karate spirit.
