After such a challenging year, Kippie wish to improve the wellbeing of our children over summer 2021. We are delighted we will be delivering holiday activities for 5–10-year-olds. Giving them the opportunity to connect through play, being active and enjoying themselves! We will boost their confidence through an inclusive, positive experience via sports, expressive arts, crafts, outdoor learning, and trips and visits. We are in the process of finalising our trip days and we hope to have this information to you shortly.
We will continue to have enhanced hygiene and cleaning processes in place, as well as limit children’s contacts by managing reduced cohorts’ sizes, more information regarding the control we have in place can be found on Kippie.life Summer Camp Groups. We are fortunate we can maximise use of Kippie’s fantastic estate and outdoor space and by providing plenty of access to fresh air including our Summer Camp Marquee located beside Studio 1.
Kippie camps are unique and provide a different theme across each week of the school holidays to entertain 5–10-year-olds. The camps make full use of the fantastic Kippie surroundings and facilities including our: Greenhouse, tennis courts, golf putting green, driving range, studios, squash courts, the lawn, creche, outdoor play area, allocated swimming sessions in the pool on Tuesday PM and Thursday AM and will be based in the exclusive camp marquee.
There are no additional charges for extended hours: a full day session is between 08.30am and 5.30pm and includes snacks, drinks, and a meal. Unfortunately, at this stage, AM or PM only sessions are not available to help control cohort exposure during this time.
We pride ourselves on the camp Ratios, these ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone, at all times. One instructor is assigned a group of 6 children and we endeavour to group the children into appropriate age and or ability groups. In the past, the highlight of each week has been known to be our day trips, we hope to be able to offer these again this year e.g. including tubing at Alford (TBC)..
