Gym Etiquette 101: Let’s Keep Our Space Safe, Clean & Welcoming

Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, great gym etiquette helps create a positive experience for everyone. Our community is built on respect, cleanliness, and safety — and a few simple habits go a long way.

Here’s what we ask of all members:


🧼 Wipe Down Equipment After Use

We provide paper towels and disinfectant spray throughout the gym for your convenience. After using any machine, bench, or equipment, please take a moment to wipe it down.

This helps:

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Prevent the spread of germs
  • Show courtesy to the next member

A quick wipe makes a big difference!


🎒 No Bags on the Gym Floor

For everyone’s safety, bags are not permitted on the gym floor.

Why?

  • Bags create trip hazards
  • They block walkways and emergency access
  • They clutter shared workout space

To keep the area safe and organized, please store your belongings properly before beginning your workout.


🔑 Use Our Small Lockers for Keys

If you prefer not to use the changing rooms, we’ve got you covered! We provide small lockers near the workout area where you can securely store your keys and small personal items.

It’s a quick, convenient way to keep your essentials safe without bringing extra items onto the floor.


🤝 Respect Shared Space

A few additional friendly reminders:

  • Re-rack weights after use
  • Be mindful of time on popular equipment
  • Keep phone calls outside the workout area
  • Give others space during their sets
