Will all activities be available via booking only?
Yes, you will not be able to turn up at the Club without a booking.
Currently, you can book online for fitness classes, golf, driving range, practice area, squash and tennis.
We strongly advise that you book your session in the pool and the gym by calling 01224 734747.
How long are the sessions and can I book a back to back session?
All sessions will be 45mins. Gym starts 5.30am – Pool starts 5.45am
You can book a double session however, you will need to vacate the gym after your first 45 minutes whilst the Kippie team sanitise the area. A fair use policy will apply.
Am I required to wear a facemask at the Club?
Yes, when you are moving around the Complex. So, when arriving and checking in at Reception, throughout the corridors, entering and exiting the gym and classes you will be advised to wear a face covering. You are not required to in the gym, aerobic studio or pool.
When I visit the gym, can I use the changing rooms?
Changing rooms are for pool access only.
Will there be somewhere in the gym where I can leave my valuables?
Yes, we have mini lockers to place your valuables but we are advising you to bring as little with you as possible. Please bring your mobile phone for VCI check in.
How will we be able to stay socially distant and safe using the showers after swimming?
We are advising you to come with your costumes/shorts on underneath your clothing. Not every shower will be in operation in the communal area. If possible we recommend you shower at home.
Will swimming activities such as Learn to Swim return next week?
Learn to Swim whether it be private or group lessons will not return immediately. Learn to swim with recommence after the October holidays. Splash Time cannot resume until further restrictions are lifted however family open swimming will be available.
Can I use the lockers in the changing rooms when I swim?
Yes but not all lockers will be available to keep you and members socially distant from each other. You must collect a locker key from reception and leave the key in the key lock after your swim.
Are the fitness classes running at reduced capacity?
Yes, we are running all classes at reduced capacity however, online zoom classes will continue.
We will endeavor to increase Club based classes to keep up with demand.
Will I be required to check-in for track and trace?
Absolutely. A QR code is located at each entrance. We recommend you pre-register at home to save time. Please click this link for instructions on how to do this.
Can I take guests along to the Club?
You can take guests along to the Lodge, Golf & Tennis but NOT to the gym, fitness classes or pool for this first phase.
I am struggling to register for online booking. Can someone help me with this?
Yes, pop along to Kippie Conservatory on Friday afternoon and we can help you with this. If this time is not convenient please contact email@example.com and we can arrange another time. Alternatively, please watch the short instruction video below.
Will the pool be lane swimming only?
Initially yes. The lanes will be double width to allow social distancing and the pool capacity will be reduced and controlled through the 45 minute booking system.
Will the sauna and steam rooms be open?
Not until the next phase of Government guidelines have been released.
Will the Lodge open on Wednesday 26th August?
Yes, we will be open from 9am for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Will I need to book a table to enter the Lodge even if it is just for Coffee?
Yes, strict guidelines are in place. You must book a table if you wish to eat inside the Club or Marquee for coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner by calling 01224 739901.
